Cybersecurity industry trailblazer Michael Kennedy is the founder of TruthInCyber.org. He spent 20+ years leading network infrastructure, security, program management, and M&A integration teams before starting Ostra Cybersecurity in 2018.
Throughout his career, Michael noticed a growing problem with service providers in the cybersecurity space: a lack of transparency. Thanks to a highly saturated and competitive market, technology providers and MSSPs are too focused on closing deals and hiding their “secret sauce” from competitors. Many have lost sight of their core purpose—which is to help clients prevent and recover quickly from cyberattacks—and instead use predatory sales practices instead of taking care of people. As a result, we are all losing the war on cybercrime.

Mel Kolinski is a seasoned sales executive and passionate nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience in sales strategy, channel development, and partner enablement. As Senior Director of Sales and Partnerships at Ostra Cybersecurity, she combines strategic insight with a relationship-first approach to drive growth and expand market reach. Outside of her professional role, Mel is a dedicated volunteer and advocate for youth athletics and women in tech.
Oscar Minks
With over two decades of industry experience, Oscar serves as President of FRSecure where he has previously served as CTO, directing our service offerings, offensive, and defensive teams. He has extensive experience in many roles and industries managing incident response, cyber defense, vulnerability management programs, and more. To Oscar, our focus on fixing a broken industry means leading by example and showing his peers the importance of doing things correctly, not just conveniently. When Oscar isn’t helping folks with security, you might find him strumming a guitar or fishing.
